Hertz employee Gary was prompt with all answers to my queries, and reassuring when I have not hired a van for moving home before. Alex effectively dealt with the return of the 6Tonne capacity Toyota diesel Hiace. The interior of the storage area was at least 2.4 metres length - all my taken-apart Ikea furniture fit well.
These guys are dodgy. To this day, I have never received a refund back for the partial deposit made when booking their hire van, let alone zero correspondence to an email that was sent regarding my concerns. Furthermore, we were instructed to drop the keys in the drop box when we were finished with the van, as the establishment would be closed since it was after hours.
