Vehicle was in a poor state. Multiple areas of damage to paintwork and windshield. Interior was not clean. No cables in the car for charging!!! Vehicle was in need of a service one day after the rental commenced - from day 2 this triggered an alarm every time the car was started
They didn’t open on time and you can’t call to cancel
Not a lot of selections, but the people there are very nice and it’s helpful as they can be if you need something quick just to get an offer for a couple of days. I would definitely go to them.
Reserved a mid size SUV one week in advance. Arrived 20 minutes after my scheduled pick up time and was told to wait 30 minutes. After 30 minutes I was told there was no car available, they forgot to pick it up. All the employees were pointing fingers at someone that was not there. No was apologetic nor offered a solution. Do not recommend renting a car from here.
The Representative at Brewster location has no idea how to set up the AAA discount when renting a vehicle through AAA. He has to wait for another representative to input information into computer system so he then can rent you the car and give you a receipt. I filled up the rental at a gas station 3 minutes from the Hertz location . On receipt he noted 99% full. I filled it above full three minutes the gas level had not moved.
