I have been going to Her Space for years.....but not as often as I should. I went to look up the address again this morning before my appointment, and after reading recent reviews, was concerned that perhaps things had changed since the last time I was there. Their receptionist is completely incompetent. I called to make an appointment for a baseline mammogram and it took over 15 minutes for their receptionist to collect my information and to make the appointment. She called me back a few minutes later to inform me that since I am a “self-pay” client the cost of the mammogram is $400. I informed her that I have full insurance coverage, as I just gave her all the information in the initial phone call. I can not give this facility anything but the poorest of ratings. I was mislead into thinking they take insurance. I was never once told when making the appointment or arriving the day of that they don't participate with any insurance. I was asked repeatedly what insurance carrier I use when making the appointment and once arrived at the office. They even took pictures of my insurance card. I was told after paying in full I should have read the fine print on the form that they do not participate with any insurance carriers. ... read more
