2 months and still waiting... I went there on 11/26/08 for an exam and pick my glasses. It's 1/22/09 and I still haven't heard anything on when to pick up my glasses. I called and left a message, no one called me back. All the staff were nice and friendly but the waiting is too long. The frame on my glasses that I have now broke. I just super glue it together so it won't fall apart... just bearing with it. Wish they would call me and tell me why it's taking so long.
A Competent Optometrist with Rude Staff I went for an eye exam at the Capitol Drive location with Dr. Patterson. I found the receptionist to be rather rude; it should be noted that I was late, but had phoned ahead to let them know of it. I was told that as long as I arrived within a 10 minute window, I would be fine. Upon arrival 6 minutes late, I was brusquely informed that I was too late to be seen, and was only seen after another employee noted that they had told me that I could arrive up to 10 minutes late. Your Standard Optical Store I went here because this is the only choice for opticians with the insurance plan from my work (my insurance pays 100%). The eye exam was routine, the doctor was nice and very competent but kind of serious -- no smiling, joking or chatting. The choice of eyeglass frames is ok. Nothing special as far as I'm concerned. I picked the ones that I thought looked the least objectionable on me. What I'd really prefer is to pick the ones that look the best, but I didn't feel that they had that kind of sele... read more
Never Returning Customer-A Back Door Experience On two recent visits,I was very displeased w/ the customer service I received from the Receptionist at the Whitefish Bay Herslof's location. As I entered the facility she was on the telephone rolling her eyes to the back of her head as she spoke to a client, after the call, never acknowledging me she looked up widening her eyes like"YEAH" which immediately turned me off. Never saying more than 2-3 words she handed me forms and did a prescreen. extremely rude and uppity, tried t... read more
Beware Dr Patterson at Herslof I have had two horrible expereinces with a very rudeand incompetent Dr Patterson at Herslof at both Silver Spring and Lake Dr. locations. Never again. Herslof you have lost my business forever. Beware!
