I attempted to call this dermatology office as an out-of-pocket paying individual. I asked for a good faith estimate on potential costs of being seen and potential treatment. I was denied and told it is not policy to give out any form of quote. I am just a member of the public so I could be wrong on this but I'm pretty sure it's federally required to give some kind of good faith quote to potential out of pocket patients. After 5 weeks I was told that I had to pay over 900.00 for Dupixent. Dr told me at first it would be zero. They told me that they were going to run the script thru Tandem, I completed the app sent it back. The end was 1400 but with insurance it would be 900.00. I was told that the Dr knows how much you will be charged. After she told me the cost would be 900.00 I told her I couldnt afford that, I asked if there was another option she said that I would have to make another appt.
