Not often is a bakery a destination stop for travelers, but for those who have ventured to Amish Country and found their way to Hershberger's Farm & Bakery, that experience alone is a reason to venture to Holmes County. Sure, a person could walk into Hershberger's Farm & Bakery and see all of the amazing selections of baked goods, like fry pies, apple fritters and muffins, to name just a few. Or they could view fresh, colorful produce piled high, but why let your eyes have all the fun? Letting your nose savor all of those lu... read more

The bread was very good, very soft, and had a great taste. We will be going back for more.
My favorite place to visit in Holmes County! 🥰
Stopped by today after seeing some reviews online, we LOVED it here! The petting zoo is amazing, easily the best petting zoo I’ve ever been to. My daughter is one and loved it! Highly recommend!
Hershberger's is opening for the season! YAY :-)
My husband and I have visited Holmes County numerous times, but we have never stopped at Hershberger’s. Well this trip we did. I purchased some jellies and seasonings. And I also bought a few of you delicious cinnamon rolls to bring home with us. I enjoyed those this morning with coffee. We will be returning to Holmes next month, and will definitely stop in again and pick up some of the amazing things you offer.
We loved this place! Lots of different animals in the petting zoo that you can feed, big and small horses to ride, gift shop to buy souvenirs at, and a store with bakery items and fresh fruits and vegetables, all from local places. You have to pay for the petting zoo and horse riding but it is very inexpensive. We would visit again!
This place was wonderful. Sweet baby pigs and cows, hilariously bleating sheep and goats, fluffy little chickens and chicks, little bunnies, beautiful peacocks, a longhorn, a ginormous horse -- all so friggin cute I died. Who cares if its $3.00 to enter and spend time with these creatures. If it pays for them to have clean beds and happy lives, I'm happy to pay it.
I have been going to hershbergers for years and have always LOVED it. We go in spring and summer and again in fall for pumpkins. Was super excited to go today for our first trip this year and was so disappointed. The redid things over winter and opened back up super commercialized. Lost all the small family run farm charm that made it great :(
