There are not enough ways for me to say a sincere thanks to Dr. Maniar and his surgical team for literally saving my life!!! I was rushed to the Barnes-Jewish Hospital emergency room with a near fatal heart attack on 6/16/19. He and his team performed a triple cabbage bypass surgery on me on 6/21/19. This is 7/31/19, barely over 5 weeks into my recovery. I am almost back to where I was before the heart attack. Dr. Maniar is amazing. My dad went in for an aortic dissection and Dr. Maniar did his surgery. He was present for my step-mom as well as my brother and myself to answer questions more than once during my dad's week long stay at Barnes. My dad's surgery was done in the middle of the night and during that day he was draining from one of the tubes more than the doctor would have liked.
