Best doctor I have ever known! Incredibly intelligent and best in his field. His skill and knowledge is only rivaled by his care and compassion. Every person in the office truly care about their patients. For several years, Dr. Herron has helped preserve the vision of my grandmother, who suffers from macular degeneration. We are forever grateful to Dr. Herron, Mrs. Herron, Cara, Alice and Betty!
I have never been to a more knowledgeable or caring eye doctor in my life. You may wait a bit longer because Dr Herron truly cares about his patients and takes the time to listen and help. I can't put into words how much his patience and understanding helped during my CSR treatments. One reviewer complained of out of date equipment, it certainly doesn't affect his ability to diagnose or treat eye maladies. Friendly and caring staff to boot. Thank you!

You do have to wait, but you are usually on an out within one to two hrs. Dr. Herron is extremely thorough, and I've been going to him for the last fifty (50) years. Yes, I said FIFTY years!! He corrected my lazy eye when I was a toddler. You are hard pressed these days to find a doctor who will spend more than 15 minutes with you. I trust him implicitly, and dread the day he retires!! I only have one pair of eyes, and I trust Dr. Herron to take care of them.
This is the worst doctors office ever. Be prepared to wait in an office with no music, or tv, for at least 3 hours, 3 times a month. The doctor is old and uses out of date procedures. It is absolutely ridiculous! He should just retire.
