RecommendedMy husband and I have both had colonoscopies by Dr. Silverman at Colorectal Specialists, and when I was having a serious complication with diverticulitis , Dr. Silverman's office scheduled a timely office visit and surgery dates to correct the problem. He is an excellent surgeon, and I was told by the attending nurses at Mercy South hospitalthat he is highly respected also for preciseness of surgery preparation for his patients. I feel that he took great care of me and would highly recommend him for any colorectal care.
RecommendedDoctor Silverman is straight and to the point. He does not beat around the bush or sugarcoat. I appreciate his honesty and straightforwardness. But he also has a sense of humor to put his patients at ease.

When I had a miscarriage the only follow up I received was in regards to my hcg levels. At the time, I did not know that other clinics follow up on women’s mental health and emotional support - which I really needed. Additionally, there was no discussion of pain management and once the pain started there was no way I could get dressed much less get in a car for an appointment.

My last 2 appointments there was told that I'd be getting an ultrasound, yesterday when I asked why was told it wasn't really necessary even though I had a concern from one of my cats jumping on the baby belly. I'm high risk to begin with, type 1 diabetic, my age, and anemic during this pregnancy. My high risk obgyn said they're supposed to be my pcp while pregnant and they can't even give me a flu shot even though it's covered. RecommendedMy daughter's appointment was for a quick shot, but when we mentioned a concern, they quick added her to their schedule, even though they were super busy. It was such a relief to speak to Amanda Skaggs and get our minds eased.
I was disappointed with the services provided to me here. I was incredibly uncomfortable there, it was unorganized, & my concerns were not handled professionally. I ended up switching mid-pregnancy elsewhere.
