Terrible experience. They lied to me on numerous occasions stating that they filed my Tax Appeal. I come to find two years later that they never filed my appeal. When I asked for a refund of the fee they charged me they refuse to even return my phone calls or e-mails. Stay away from this company.
They took my check two years ago, the lawyer handling the claim disappeared, I've received letters from the city saying that my representation never showed up at scheduled court appearances and when I call Bergen-Essex Tax Appeal Service, all I get is a voice mail. I've left messages, but never get a return call. They are either incompetent, out of business, scammers or assholes. In either case, I would suggest that you avoid these people
