I had an emergency with my pup and my regular veterinarian was closed and recommended I call Hernando Animal Hospital. They got me right in and took very good care of my pup! I am extremely picky about my pets and I can say they have my 100% confidence! It was a great experience for both myself and my pup. They were very well priced and didn’t try to force a bunch of tests on me. I would not hesitate to go back again and if anyone is looking for a vet....I would certainly recommend them! ❤️
I have been going here for over 10 years. I love them!!! They treat you and your fur babies like family. I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else. I feel blessed to have found them.

I've lived in Hernando County for over 25 years and have taken my doggies to a few Vets around the area. I used Dr. Gretzinger for the few years prior to my leaving the area. She was recommended to me by a friend and couldn't have been happier. Doc is such a sweet, caring and knowledgeable vet and the office staff is very friendly and welcoming. I moved to Florida in 2010 from mass, and Dr. Gretzinger is the best vet I have ever known.. I’ve had 4 dogs in my life and now just adopted a new one..I’ve since moved back to Mass, and I WISH she was in Massachusetts.. the most special woman, Dr. Vet, compassionate,caring.. I think of her to this day of how she cared for my dog Busta!! Thank you Dr. Gretzinger wish you practiced in Mass. you are truly one of a kind ❤️🐾🙏 thank you

Thanks to Dr Gretzinger & staff Bob is back to his normal self with hardly any problems with his grooming. He's playing and eating like crazy. The shots have helped with his constant licking and scratching. He's back to stealing socks and hiding them. He is doing good so far and is driving his brother crazy. Life is back to normal at the Meadows residence with their constant antics and filling the bathtub of water, so they can splash and play.
