I have been to Herms a few times as i would take clients out to Breakfast. I can say i will not be going back anymore. The food was not the best, but on a worse note i was shocked by the way a couple of the the workers treated the customers. The guy working the front counter totally ignored a family. He Took forever to seat them and then when she went up to pay with her kids he started helping her, until a few men came in he sure hurried to seat them in the middle of helping this lady and made her wait again. Love this place! Locally sourced healthy food, with a really cool vibe!
Spectacular service! Sorry to hear about prior bad experiences. Staff was friendly and food was good. Pancakes were awesome, my biscuits were a little hard, but gravy was tasty. Bacon and coffee was excellent! Staff member brought us coffee while we waited for our table! I am in food service in TX and that small gesture of bringing us coffee was above and beyond! Will be back next time we're in town.
Its ok, I Dont crave it like my other friends do.
My latest visit to Herm's was terrible. I have eaten there in the past, and experienced good food and service. However, on my last visit, the dark haired female manager refused to seat us. She said, "I already made last call for seating." I replied, "what time is last call for seating?" She said 1:50. I looked at the time on my phone it was 1:50. She said sorry and dismissed me. I believe this shows the immaturity of the young staff who were anxious to leave work and enjoy their Saturday. I suggest that Herm's enact a policy... read more
