On 10/30/19, Dr Oates from Hermosa Smiles Dentistry, replaced a filling that fell out (2392) and charged $284. I was told it was not covered by insurance because there was no decay and it was cosmetic. It was covered by Liberty Dental Plan with a $40 copay. It took 3.5 months to get a refund. A Liberty investigation, reviewed by the DMHC, determined that there was no fraud or misrepresentation, which are violations of the Dental Practice Act. The Dental Board recommended getting a civil disposition.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. A state of the art facility with beautiful equipment. This was the least painful and fastest x rays ever and believe me I have had many👍
