We had a wonderful stay at Hermitage Lodge. The ambience is simply beautiful—peaceful, inviting, and perfectly designed for relaxation. Nestled in a tranquil setting, it offers a calm escape that immediately puts you at ease. The rooms were spotless, with every detail well taken care of. Great pizza, beautiful property. Accommodation is nice and quiet. Centrally located close to all th main attractions and good choice of cellar doors close buy
This is a great place to stay. I give the service 4 stars as the restaurant which is one of the best around does not open every night -so check. The vineyards are dotted around and the cellar doors close at 17h, so you want accommodation where you can eat if no one wants to drive… Ideally take a min of 2 nights and hire bikes to get around. The accommodation was ideal and gave one the feel of the local life. Beautiful without trying to be super-chic. Will come back - so many other cellar doors to open…
