My son has only been at HH for about two weeks, so I will continue to provide updates on our overall experience. So far I'm blown away by the level of care and assistance provided by Ms. Jey at the front desk & Ms. Douglas in admissions. I thank them both easing my mind during drop off. I only wish we would have received some of rhe paperwork to complete before arrived to ensure accurate information is provided and avoid paperwork overload during admissions. Friday morning we left at 1 am for our final trip to Nashville. After 8.5 hours we pulled into the parking lot at Hermitage Hall for the last time. Coincidentally it was the exact same spot we parked 9 months before, the day we dropped him off. We sat in the car for a few minutes remembering the feelings we had that day. Wish I could give this NO star review. This place is false advertising. It says they have a unit for girls who were involved in sex trafficking and other resources. My parents dropped me off and they straight up lied to them. I ended up being put in the kids that sexually act out.(M2) I was touched on alot. There would be lots of fights. Staff wouldn't try to stop it at times or it would be staff getting in full fist fights with kids. So much went on in that hell hole. It's not okay. I am revising my review! If I could give negative stats I WOULD! We tried to readmitt our family member. To give them a second chance to fix the situation and see if their NEW management team could. And after finding out remission would be denied because of my review. DISGUSTING! To deny help because of a review when you had the chance to fix it. This place should be closed down! I was a resident in 2020 I was discharged after 7 months came out worse and some of the staff were nice but 1 of them broke my arm and then quit and had no reprucusion and 1 of the staff was nice and wanted me to do better but instead of helping shut me out when I had a fall back and had a crate thrown at me and a kid behind me got his head split open and had to get stitches I was 9 and it only made me feel like I was in prison
