I had an incredibly frustrating and protracted experience with this office. I began the process of intake as a new patient with this MD almost a year ago now for adult ADHD. Between my higher executive functioning challenges and the demands of my work, my time and energy are incredibly limited. Despite all this, the office was extremely unhelpful and unresponsive at every step. Dr Hermele is a wonderful doctor. He cared for my husband for many many years. He restored him to well-being and made it possible for him to have a thriving life. He did not seek to intervene more than was necessary and he knew what he was talking about. I am forever grateful to him.
I saw dr. Hermele years ago and still remember how awful he was. Like the other bad reviews, he was arrogant, lacked compassion, was inaccurate in his judgments and responses. Not a good person if you value your mental health. Avoid him. Better to have no help than have his bad advice and medication prescribing.
I found Dr. Hermele to be the doctor that I needed. He makes you look at your actions and reactions rather than just talking. I liked that. I would recommend him.
Excellent for those who can accept the truth and want to change.
Although it has been many years since I’ve seen Dr Hermele I can still remember the horror he put me through. The man has not a shred of compassion for his patients and my time with him set me back immensely. If I had felt stronger at the time I would have pushed a malpractice suit.
Seemed way more interested in talking than helping. Crummy diagnosis - totally wrong, after we consulted another specialist.
Avoid at all costs. Rude, unprofessional, overall a very bad doctor. Would not recommend to anyone. Save yourself the pain. Find anybody else. Seriously.
Was highly arrogant. Rolled his eyes at the end of a session...completely dismissive of me and kept trying to put words in my mouth. Dropped him after two sessions
