ordered 9 tons of driveway gravel from Herman’s Trucking, Recycling, & Landscape Supply and couldn’t be happier. Ordering was super easy, the price was great, and delivery was fast and right on time. The driver placed everything exactly where I needed it. Customer service was excellent—friendly, helpful, and professional throughout. Everyone here is friendly and knowledgeable. They had exactly what I needed. I got both garden soil and concrete sand for the chicken coop. Definitely check them out before you spend too much at the big stores.
So we have ordered from Hermans before as we try to buy local, but this time around I was very displeased with the quality of the garden soil I purchased. Besides being filled with weeds (ok yea its soil) but the soil turns to almost cement as it starts to dry so not very good for your gardens. We had to mix a ton of peat moss just to get this soil to not turn to hard rock. There was also a lot of clay in the soil.
