Guyyyyyyz!!! Why are we wasting money at box stores!?! The prices here are better! I was stunned by their website and their prices. The service here is better. Really nice and helpful people to work with. I had rock and garden soil delivered for my raised beds without issue. Unfortunately, my peppers and tomatoes pretty much have immediately gone into a nitrogen deficiency, which surprised me based on the reviews here. The tomatoes that remain in their original soil with no additional fertilizer are still green and thriving. So be aware the garden soil mix is not balanced.
I had concerns about the much I had delivered.I called Jim, Herman’s Operations manager came out right away.(I Live local) Jim was very concerned and polite.Ultimately he’s a stand up guy and made corrections promptly.This is the kind of business everyone should have the honor to do business with.
Great place to buy and recycling , friendly, fair price .. very recommended.. if you don't speak a fluid English, they also have a very friendly Spanish guy to assist you with professionalism...
If I could give more stars I would! Hands down the very best soil I've ever gotten anywhere. I've spent alot of money trying different places out because hermans is 40 minutes away and in new jersey and i am in PA so I doubt they would deliver. I pay a friend to help me pick it up in his dump trailer it's that good! Picked up 5 yards of compost today to reamend last year's newly established beds and I will be heading back soon to pick up 5 yards of the garden soil mix for a large new raised bed.
