My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and given 3 months to live with no treatment but told he would live another year if he accepted treatment. After 3 rounds of chemo, my dad died a week later. He never got to leave the hospital and he suffered terribly all the while. We all did. We sat on the sidelines and watched him deteriorate until the last injection was given and he pasted away about ten minutes later. Dr. Herman was my Mothers Oncoligist. He was the most caring, knowledgeable oncoligist. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting an oncologist that is cutting edge, but still human!
