I saw Dr Houin for a consult for Liposuction to treat my Lipedema. He was very condescending and treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about. He basically told me I was fat (162 lbs at 5'2") and where did I think the fat was going to go. He also told me that I should just pay cash for my treatment instead of chasing appeals from my insurance company. In my case notes he didn't even address the lipedema and was more worried about the Lymphedema that I was also diagnosed with but is under control. I would never reco... read more
