I have known him for 18 years Was helpful during tough times Generous, kind and knows what he is doing .
I think Dr. Herman is great. I saw him for years before I moved to a different state. He is not the warmest fellow, but he is smart and genuinely cares about you in a very reserved way. He is also very skilled with balancing medication to find the right mix for you. It takes time, as it always does, but his skill has literally saved my life on numerous occasions. he is great, listens, and knows exactly what he is doing, he is staff is equally great , follows up and available when you need them.
My sister and I have been seeing him now for 5+ years. He's helped my family so much. He really listens and cares (so does his staff) and he gives the best approach to medical problems. I haven't had another psychiatrist but am lucky my therapist recommended him as my first. He not only considers your input but educates his patients on the problem at hand and works with you to find the best medical regime. Without him, I wouldn't be here today. He helped stabilize me. I hope he can help you too!
The day I met him I was a little nervous, but my therapist insisted I see him and after day 1 I could already tell he was an amazing listener and was just being very professional upon meeting. Asked interesting questions, I was puzzled at first. Diagnosed almost immediately, I was scared. I thought it was a mess up. But now I know after almost 3 years of being with him that he knows what he is doing and calmly explains medical issues. Very kind. Would recommend 1000% my boyfriend also sees him.
Diagnosed me when other's miss-diagnosed me !!!!!!!!
