I saw him to do a permanent crown on a tooth that had had a root canal performed by an endodontist. He fitted the tooth for a temporary crown and had to do the impressions 3 times because he kept making mistakes. He also kept drilling my gum (I have had several crowns made and never have experience a dentist drilling my gum). He then placed the temporary crown which fell off within 3 hours (when I bit into a piece of soft cheese). He said that was normal and that crowns "fall off" (again, never experienced that). Excellent dental care, with a side of comedy. (And still open, despite what this page header says.)
A relaxed yet professional environment that is focused on the patient's needs, not their own. Dr. Herman strives to make his patients comfortable and goes above and beyond to meet the specific needs of each individual. Painless, fun, friendly, and entertaining. Not a better dental office in Lexington!
This place is still open, great staff. Doctor Herman is a hoot and a half. It's NOT closed just had my tooth taken care of.
Wonderful family practice. As a UK employee i eventually took advantage of our campus coverage, but Larry and his crew are awesome. Highly recommended.
