This place is horrible. My wife an I haven been sitting here for over 3 hours now and all they have done is taken her blood. And you cant give the excuse of "we are busy" when we got here there was hardly anyone here now it is busy. Her doctor instructed her to come to the er due to severe complications from a recent procedure (today) and it feels like shes just being written off. If I was anyone else I would have drove the extra time to go to Wexford. I do not recommend this hospital especially for the ER
If I could give negative stars, I would. Took my son to the er Friday going into Saturday and I guess because new ownership is happening every person there has just said screw their job. My son who is 18 months old had a terrible cough and I was worried he had stridor. To start, they attempted to do an anal temp on him IN THE TRIAGE room, which is completely unnecessary for a child his age. They registered him under the wrong name, we waited almost 3 hours for results from a chest x ray, and I put my call light on and waited... read more

Two stars because the emergency room is always faster than other hospitals. However, It's fast because they usually dismiss your problems. I had to go to a different hospital for a torn shoulder rotor cuff because Heritage Valley just gave me a lidocaine patch and basically just said "idk what's wrong, deal with it". Upon going to a different hospital, they gave me a steroid shot and my arm immediately got better over the week. Absolutely not a good place to give birth, they don’t even want you to have a birth plan because they said they’re “offended” by it. I’ve heard horror stories of this place and that they even ignore your request to do the delayed cord clamping even though it’s the most beneficial for babies
