Amerigas, get rid of the call service. Unbelievable the amount of wasted time you spend trying to talk to someone who understands and not trying to set you up with a new account!
I have been trying to get a hold of someone to come fill my tank for over a week and I've heard from no one. I even tried to order from the Internet and nobody showed up when they said they would.
They’ve run us around 4 times, saying we need a new tank, then not delivering said tank on the scheduled day, then saying we can refill the tank, but not delivering it on the scheduled days.
AmeriGas/Heritage Propane is greedy, noncaring, pathic, company- I would not give them the time of day. We just went through hurricane Milton, we don't have power, and don't know when we will. Our new account doesn't qualify, even if I paid a delivery fee, because we would not buy enough propane for a year!!! The refuse to bring us propane so we could keep our generator running and the lights on.
They are corrupt. I signed up in 2023 being new to Florida. I never used the gas; not even once. In April of 2024 they renewed my account. I called up on 5/17 to cancel the account. I was on the phone for 25 minutes (I have my statement) and they assured me the invoice would be voided and my account closed. The following month I received another invoice with a late fee!
