I called about your pre-buy programs. I was disappointed with the information given. I can't predict how much, in gallons, of propane I will use during the year. It depends on the weather in the winter. Our whole house operates with propane appliances. I was told I could purchase gas and pay for it in advance, which I have a hard time doing not knowing the volume needed. When your delivery truck made his delivery, the weight of the truck cracked the concrete on our driveway. Your company has refused to take responsibility for this issue because we don't have video proof that it was the Amerigas truck that caused the damage. We only have photo proof of a dual-wheeled vehicle pulling exactly where the crack is located and no other dual-wheeled vehicles have entered our property. This company is garbage!!
The gentlemen who came was on time and friendly. We felt the estimate was rushed and he did not want to do it. He wrote up our estimate on a scrap piece of paper, that was going to cost estimate of 800 for line, reasonabe for 60 ft. And 4 hours for the job. Labor cost at 200 per hr. The max that could possibly be charged. The dispatch fee was taken from the credit we had on file. We were told by Tammy H that the site survey fee would be waived. But then received a bill for it. Driver was awesome!
Buyer beware. They will charge multiple 145.00 fees for possible gas leak every time you fill your tank. You cannot wait and buy when gas is low, if you go below 10% you will be charged. I just canceled service and they had over charged me last 187.00 with credits they did not notify me about. It’s better to loose a customer than to collect one 140 fee a year.
