I can strongly say, after living in these apartments for a few years that they do not care for you as tenants in any way. You are nothing but a paycheck to these people who will strive to wring every dollar out of you while trying there best to ignore any problem you may have. I know for a fact that they keep raising the rent by 300$ every year and that there are a few people paying 2800$ a month in JUST the rent in this hell hole. These people are scammers. I applied for an apartment here and paid a $250 deposit plus application fees and was denied. Then told by someone in their office to reapply with guarantor and I would be approved. I was told I could not have my deposit counted towards my re-application and would have to pay it again. So I paid an additional $250 to reapply with a guarantor. Now $500 in the hole plus application fees (separate from the deposit). Then, I was denied again. I've lived at the Hewing in two units now and have had good experiences with both. Maintenance is quick and helpful, and the leasing office has been very helpful, especially Angela!
i’ve decided that any property owned by greystar management just hires the least qualified people they can to run their complexes. no one in the front office is ever able to answer a question while you’re there, it’s always we’ll call you or please come back later and guess what? if you can’t figure out the issue on your own it’s never getting fixed. they send out emails 24 hours before they expect you to have an entire storage closet cleared out, then the “maintenance” people spend 4 hours trashing our living room and cut a... read more
