Our family has had an incredible experience with HLS. My son became fascinated with landscaping at a very young age and quickly grew to admire the HLS crews. Over the years, the team has always taken the time to wave, say hello, and make him feel included while remaining professional and focused on their work. Noticed a crew cutting down 2 large trees on common area. Went out to ask who hired them, and none of them could tell me. Gave me a number of the "supervisor", so I called him, and he also couldn't tell me. Supervisor shows up on site, and I go out to talk to him. He says "Dennis" will know, like that would mean something to me. But he won't give me Dennis' phone number. Another 20 minutes, and he puts Dennis on speaker phone, who says the HOA hired them, but they made a mistake and took down the wrong trees. Maybe if it wer... read more

They are working right now at the so-called "Gardens at Del Ray" and are not in compliance with Alexandria's ban on the use gas-powered leafblowers that operate at over 80-100 decibels. Very loud and obnoxious with 3 or 4 different leafblowers in use simultaneously.

Always pull out our speed bumps when plowing each season. Plowed a state owned road but they're not a VDOT vendor. Just out to make money. Do not hire them for your HOA.
