I would not recommend buying a house from DR Horton in Melbourne. They hide things in small print and do not have any integrity with what they promise to you when moving in. When we did our walk through we spoke to them regarding the yard and how horrible it was. The PM then stated to give it sometime and see if it would grow out and he didn't and started that DR Horton would replace it and they kept pushing us off and now state they will not do anything now. First time home buyer here! I Absolutely love this home. I wasn't told but Just be aware that this area is outside Mobile city limits and you must pay for trash services.
