We have been to the Hermitage house several times to visit my son at IUP. It is a great old house and the suites are huge. Wifi and smart TV's along with Google assistance brings us into the 2020's. Just remember it's a 150's old so staircases are grand and steep and creek, along with huge 14 ft ceilings you will get character in the floors etc. Would recommend to folks that want to step back in time but still want some of the amenities of today.

This house was so cool! Staying in something that was built over 150 years ago was quite the experience. The history surrounding the house was fun to learn about and the craftsmanship was stunning. Like you'll see in other reviews this is not a bed and breakfast, so you are paying top dollar for the experience in the old house rather than for amenities. If you want breakfast and amenities for a cheaper price you can just go to the Hilton. Overall it was a cool experience but not quite worth the price.
