I think Heritage is a very great place to work. The environment when you walk in is amazing. Everyone is friendly. Having worked somewhere where the environment wasn't so great makes it that much more noticeable when you walk into Heritage!!! I can say that I have never been more proud to say that I love working here. I have found my place in geriactrics here at Heritage and I wouldn't work anywhere else!!!!
MAJOR KUDOS!!! Best friends mom came in, unmotivated, not eating well, not smiling... NOW , feeding herself, talking. Sitting at nurses station watching people, participating in activities, WALKING short distances!!! I've been an RN for 25 years, so I KNOW this " Doesn't just HAPPEN". It takes the dedication and patience of all who take care of her. Renae Rushing has played A MAJOR part in seeing this happen. My best friend is now smiling and encouraged after each visit....
You all took good care of my precious mother and for that I am grateful and I thank you very much!
I cannot thank the staff of Heritage enough for taking such great care of my grandmother. She was truly happy to be there and loved her nurses. You will never know how much appreciation I have for each of you and your devotion to love and care for the residents.
