I was a patient of Dr Pifer since 1984. Never a problem. I went in for a yearly checkup this past Monday . The only pleasant encounter was the nurse . The practitioner and exit receptionist were rather rude. They said they wanted me to see a cardiologist. They had me pick from a list so they could send an order in to them and they would call me. I hate to say it but this new provider/operates as people are a number not a patient they are caring for. I called in while I was sick and left three messages. None of my calls were returned. Two weeks later I called back to get a prescription refill for my meds. I was then told I needed to wait 6 1/2 days before I could be seen. I expressed great concern that my meds would be out of my system and I couldn't work without them. The receptionist response was disappointing. Dr Pifer has been my physician since 1989. She is so knowledgeable with diagnosis and treatment. She's graceful, kind, and takes time to listen to your health concerns. She never seems to age always looks young. Doctors like this are hard to find in the medical field. She's one classy lady.
