If you can’t afford a full treatment plan, expect to be pressured instead of helped. I came in for a cleaning so I could fix a broken molar. During the visit, they found an abscess I’ve had for years. I was previously told it could wait until I could afford treatment. I explained clearly—multiple times—that I cannot afford to address it right now and wanted to proceed with the broken tooth. It wasn’t just the dental assistant pushing this.
