Nice friendy staff,clean a bit dated and good value and location.
Wonderful place to stay in Cairns. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel is quiet and safe. Centrally located short walk into the city (and if with kids - right next to Muddy's playground!). The staff have always been lovely - we highly recommend Heritage Hotel in Cairns.
Stayed for 2 nights. Room 203 was comfortable. Bed comfortable as. Staff friendly. The only one thing that I could complain about was mould in the shower and shower head, which was on an angle.
Unfortunately this is the worst hotel I've ever seen. We got to our room and immediately saw at least one huge cockroach. We complained to the front desk and were offered another room which was extremely dirty and below any expectations. We left after 20 minutes to find another accommodation. If you can, definitely skip this hotel if you don't want to share your room with cockroaches. We asked for a refund, but were told to reach out to Booking since we booked through them.
