Chicken was exceptional, and that was it. The cheesecake heavily disappointed me. Overall it’s was mid with mid prices.
We went on a sunday at 12. There wasn’t many people but everything was clean. The food selection is small but it wasn’t bad. it was $20 a person.
We arrived 7/4/25 at 5:15 pm. The cashier had just took the order and payment of two men directly in front of us and allowed them to go straight to a table. I stepped up to order and pay and she tells me she can't let us in for 15 minutes....the place was nearly EMPTY. Absolutely disgraceful for Ameristar to call this a buffet! Salad bar was anything but a bar. We asked for bacon bits, real or fake, to be told they don’t even have them for their bar. We were told it was going to be a seafood buffet. That consisted of boiled shrimp, fried fish & frog legs. That’s it. Ridiculous! Will NEVER visit them again!
