A year and a half ago I had to make the decision of placing my mother into assisted living that also caters to memory care, as, she is diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer's. I did my research and toured all the facilities around B.C. and Kalamazoo. This place came highly recommended. And it was the correct choice. My mum loves it. If I could give zero stars i would , this place disgusts me with how they treat their employees , if you like to receive a paycheck DO NOT work here. They messed up on my very first check and fixed it rightfully so and then my next check after that I did not get at all! The ED Jamie claims that the HR person iris “overlooked” my paycheck and are trying to say I owe them money for fingerprints I never got and a pair of scrubs they told me was free! , I have been attempting to contact this company all day long and it got to a ... read more
My mother in law was here at Heritage Assisted Living for 12 weeks. Although her stay was less than we had hoped, she truly appreciated it there. She enjoyed her meals and the friends she made at dinner. She always said how kind and caring all of the staff were. I could tell they had caring staff when we admitted her. All staff looks you in the eye and greets you with a smile. I highly recommend this Assisted Living Community if you are looking for a place for your loved one.
Heritage Assisted Living is a special place! The staff takes such great care of my mother. Mom is so happy there, and loves the daily exercise class, social activities and frequent road trips.
The staff at Heritage has made the transition to assisted living as smooth as possible for my mom. She is always treated with respect and care. Mom is enjoying the social interactions, especially the musical performances.
