I’m really disappointed with my recent telehealth appointment. It started over an hour late, and then the call was cut off midway through. When I contacted reception, I was told the doctor had ended the call to attend to an in-person patient. If telehealth appointments are being offered, they should be treated with the same level of priority and professionalism as in-person visits. I want to clarify that this feedback is not directed at the doctors, but at the reception practices. Patients who present with cold or flu symptoms are regularly asked to wait outside, which is understandable from an infection control perspective. However, asking people to wait outside in 40-degree heat feels unreasonable and potentially unsafe. Additionally, patients are charged $5 for a mask if they do not have one, which seems excessive. Cant get better than Dr Q... all the staff are always happy to help me whenever needed
Receptionist was so rude. Asked to book an appointment and she straight up just said “i can not book you in” with no reason following her statement. I had to ask her why that might be before she was willing to disclose that the practice was not taking on new patients. But the way she just spoke to me was so so rude. Please have performance review with said receptionist. She took my call 8:30am Tuesday 16th December.
Family been patients of The Herdsman Medical Centre for 15yrs now. We see Dr. Ravi who is a legend in the GP field. Dr. Ravi works with you on your health related issues, will follow up with you when your test results come in. He’ll talk about the cricket, tell a few jokes at your appointment; you end up forgetting what you went to see him about lol. Only negative, is that Dr. Ravi is such a nice guy generally, you have to wait to see him. If only there were more Dr. Ravi’s in the GP world!
