I was recommended by a friend to take my car to Herdsman Auto after receiving a dishonest and excessive quote from Nissan. John was very friendly and honest, was able to determine the problem very quickly (a split in my radiator) as promised. He gave me a couple of different price options, and was able to fit me in a few days later to complete the job and I was able to pick the car up the same day, and it cost me half of what Nissan quoted me. Took my car in for a service today (very overdue), they fit me in quickly and did a great job, explained what I needed and provided a very comprehensive invoice and summary of their work afterwards, they even cleaned the inside for me! Great experience, friendly staff and well priced service - thank you!
Ripped off my friend entirely, an eye watering price for basics such as oil filter, air filter and new wipers. Labour came out at $165 an hour which is insane. They take advantage of people who don't know better. Overall incredibly overpriced. Be wary!
I have had several services on different cars over the last few years carried out at HAS. They have always done a great job. Shan is not only a great mechanic but also has great customer service skills. Just had the VW Golf serviced and they have done an excellent job again. Such a better experience than going to the so called dealerships that charge more money with less customer care.
