I had an appointment for 4PM, showed up 15 minutes early wandering a poorly signed building with no clear directions in the emails or on the website. Still, I made it on time. Upon walking up the stairs, I was greeted first by a barking, protective dog, then the owner (with whom I had booked the service) asking, “Do you have an appointment?” I said yes, 4 PM. Total waste of time. Talking with this staff is like talking to people who genuinely don't like socializing with other people and give off the vibes that they are annoyed to hear from you in the first place. Unhelpful and unexcited to help out new clients, save your money for a studio who actually wants you to book and visit instead of being a burden for reaching out. HERcurls is SUCH a vibe. I think this may be the best hair salon experience I’ve ever had! Decor and playlist 10/10. Everyone was so nice, friendly, and welcoming throughout my entire visit. I got a wash and go done by Mari. I consider myself a person who mostly knows how to take care of their own hair, but I still feel like I learned a ton from Mari’s curl education!
