Yeah for vegans! This place is a great idea! I ordered something that was naturally vegan, like pasta so I wouldn't be disappointed. It was just o.k. though. However, I tasted my friends carrot cake and that was quite tasty. The "chocolate donut" I had though was not. They used the term "chocolate" and "donut" very loosely, as if it resembled either of the afore mentioned items. It was more like a wheat hoop with something slightly sweet on top of it. It was very dry.
What Happened? Normally this place is a favorite of the Berkeley dinning but my last time there it was a disappointment. i ordered the spinach and quinoa salad but it did not have enough dressing and the portions were smaller then normal. no one took our order for a really long time and the service wasn't that great even though there weren't many customers.
Best everything ever:)!!!!!! – I have been dining at Herbivore for a decade now, and I must say there is a great change happening:). Healthy! The falafel wrap from Herbivore is tasty, but they were pretty skimpy on the side salad. It's a good place to get food when you want something light and refreshing.
