What Happened? Normally this place is a favorite of the Berkeley dinning but my last time there it was a disappointment. i ordered the spinach and quinoa salad but it did not have enough dressing and the portions were smaller then normal. no one took our order for a really long time and the service wasn't that great even though there weren't many customers.
Yeah for vegans! This place is a great idea! I ordered something that was naturally vegan, like pasta so I wouldn't be disappointed. It was just o.k. though. However, I tasted my friends carrot cake and that was quite tasty. The "chocolate donut" I had though was not. They used the term "chocolate" and "donut" very loosely, as if it resembled either of the afore mentioned items. It was more like a wheat hoop with something slightly sweet on top of it. It was very dry.
Healthy! The falafel wrap from Herbivore is tasty, but they were pretty skimpy on the side salad. It's a good place to get food when you want something light and refreshing.

I practically live at Herbivore. I live right across the street so I go for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Always a side of tofu scramble and a pancake on their brunch menu, and often a pizza with BBQ chick'n and pineapple if not the chick'n Caesar salad. If other restaurants in Berkeley served even an eighth of the options here, they'd have a lot more business. Certainly hundreds if not thousands (after two years here) of my dollars. Keep it up, Herbivore! You are my food world :)
