Awesome staff and excellent food. If the porch was only pet friendly and there were veggies for the fish spread for those of us that are GF
On vacation a week and a half ago driving back from Key West to Miami looking for a place to stop for lunch... Saw the sign and stopped. OMG...unfortunately I'm not a huge seafood person and dying for a good burger...I think I died and went to heaven...ordered Swiss cheese, onions, and their chipolte mayo...beef fed on grass only. First visit last night after a friend's recommendation. Small menu BUT very well prepared food--fresh, not overcooked, just lovely. The smoked fish dip was terrific as was the Optimus Prime. The lemon ice box pie brought back childhood memories although I think Herbie's crust was better. And the beer selection may be the best in the Middle Keys. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Go early as it can get a bit crowded--not a surprise given the quality of the food.

Couldn't be a better place to work or to eat and hangout! Great "keys" atmosphere and everyone couldn't be nicer! Come in and meet our staff, try our delicious craft beer, and our amazing food!
Very disappointed with the expensive sea food platter. It tasted like rubber with no seasoning soaked in old oil. Definitely not edible. Made a mistake going there.
OMG, this place is better than it ever was, the burger was awesome and the fries are like crack, you can't not eat the whole basket. Pete, thank you so much for not just saving a piece of Marathons history but improving upon it. Best of luck.

Outstanding! A Marathon icon refreshed and revitalized. Excellent beer selection, delightful wines, creative menu. Super friendly staff. I almost don't want to recommend Herbie's so we can keep it for ourselves!
