The owner is great.i had an issue with the car(207.000km).got a recommendation.took it there.when I came to pick it up he explained what was wrong after looking at it.then he gave me some great advise on what to do.when I was going to pay him for his service he didn't want money even after i insisted.he knew he could have easily ripped me off without me knowing.instead he gave me advise on how to prevent issues. he is absolutely the most genuine mechanic I've come across.down to earth zero arrogance. Best Motor mechanic in Sydney! Herbie takes great care, and always knows how to fix any mechanical problem. He is kind and down to earth and would never rip you off. He explains his work in detailed easy to comprehend terms. Lucky to have him.
have had to fix paint work that have been swirled and scratched from this place
I dropped my car off at Herbie’s shop with no issues on the paint, when I went to go pick up the car the next day there was a scratch on the left quarter that went through the paint and down to the metal. They tried to fix it by polishing the car and they ruined the paint work even more. They also over charge by a lot for just a service and when I spoke to other mechanics after they also said I got overcharged. Really wouldn’t recommend this place.
Herbie’s Mechanics is truly one of a kind! Herbie, Stu, his son, and the whole team are honest, reliable, and always accommodating. They never try to upsell or overcharge. Just give clear, honest advice and top-notch service. They’ve even helped me out in urgent situations and didn’t charge for simple checkups. It’s always a comfort visiting their shop, everyone’s so friendly, and it really feels like being part of the family. Highly recommend! Thank you Herbie and team!
