Stopped in for a dinner service and ordered the Lamb Shank special which was fantastic. Though I did also order the fries appetizer which is enough for a 4 person table (fantastic). The mussels had a good sauce but did not smell/taste/look fresh. That was the only clunker of the meal.
My girlfriend suggested Herbie’s for dinner, and I’m glad she did! The ambiance is great—I especially loved the indoor bar and the music. While the menu wasn’t as large as I expected, the food definitely made up for it. The portions were huge and everything was delicious. Don’t make the same mistake we did by ordering too much thinking the portions would be small—Herbie’s definitely gives you your money’s worth. We’ll be back!
