GREAT food, extremely fast service, fair prices, good hot sauce, good tea, and good looking girls (customers)
I love eating out, especially Mexican food. A friend of mine, from San Marcos, recommended that I try it out. It wasn't as great as I had hoped. The cheese enchiladas with the con carne are more like something from the freezer section at the grocery store. I haven't really found anything that I like here, sorry! I keep returning hoping that I will see what my friend is talking about.
Twenty years ago it was decent. We would drive from Austin to eat at Herberts These days its just awful. Just stay a home and eat a frozen dinner and pretend your in San Marcos....
I really enjoyed the times I've been to Herbert's my brother and his family live in Kyle and I live in Waco tx so when I visit thats the spot the service,prices,and food is great I will continue to come back. Mullins-Shelley
