John D was buddy- buddy with Hensiak Inspection service. You could tell they worked together a lot on other home purchases. These home inspectors were a joke. Hensiak Inspection Service inspected my home for a real estate sale. During the inspection the well pressure tank was moved which broke the seal to the connecting pipe causing a leak. You could clearly see it had been moved by the foot print on the floor. I had to pay a plumber to come and fix the leak. The plumber said you never move a pressure tank. Hensiak said they did not move the pressure tank and did not cause the leak. (So how did the pressure tank move during inspection???) Hensiak will not reimburse me for the plum... read more

When we inspected their home the pressure tank was not leaking. There is no reason for us, or any home inspector, to touch the pressure tank; the pressure gauge tells us everything we need to know. The buyers' were present, they will confirm that we did not touch the tank, when we left the home the tank was not leaking. I think you were terribly misinformed at the procedures of a home inspection. Unfortunately things happen; components wear out at the most unfortunate times.
