Unfortunately, my experience with HOAF has been disappointing, largely because of my interactions with Mary Jane. Horrible company. RUN don't walk away from them. Rude and unhelpful, inaccurate information given constantly, refuse to provide validation of the alleged debt in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). If I could give no stars, I would.
This so called debt collection company, is completely ridiculous. I’ve seen many reviews on this company that are telling the truth! Have had nothing but problems with this company and hoa I’m in the verandah in Royse city. The fees are over 500$ yearly not to mention the MUD that they told me was not here is about 1000$ yearly, they have given me no communication directly to solve the unpaid trash can fee. Terrible company , no way to pay online , minimal location to drop off payment , Most of all their “specialists” never answer or call back .
This “debt collection company” or “law office”? will harass you with deadlines and threats of liens and foreclosure, but do not respond to calls, emails, or voicemails. They want your money so badly, but when you try to send it to them you’re met with difficulty, silence, unanswered questions. I finally was able to get thru over phone call to verify that they received a check for a large amount, sent via ups, and the lady sounded very unsure of how she could help me.
