Dr. Gellender performed lens implants on both eyes in 2003. Remarkable job, as I had a difficult case (cataracts in 1982, aphakic (no lenses)) since then. I would highly Dr. Gellender, as I recommended him to my daughter for LASIK in 2008.
The appointment was a total fail and complete waste of my time. Made it at 0830 in the morning. Received ~20 minutes of paper work to fill out in advance via US mail and completed that. Showed up on time and then promptly sat in the waiting room for 50 minutes without ever being called. Evidently, this center places zero value on patient time. Dr. Gelender did the first LASIK procedure around January and 2 months into the procedure I started noticing a change in my eye sight enough to have a touch up done on one eye 4 months after the initial procedure.
