I called today at 9:00 AM regarding an appointment. The receptionist I spoke with (a Black woman, for identification purposes) had a very rude and dismissive attitude. I was simply asking questions about scheduling, but she was very short with me and did not communicate professionally. I felt disrespected by the interaction and wanted to bring it to your attention. I've been going to other Henry Ford hospitals for my pregnancy. I went here once for my NST. This one is worse than my experience at Trinity Health Pontiac for my first pregnancy. They just left me there for 30 minutes without checking my monitor ONCE. My baby always gets NST done fast because he is a mover and I know the process about waiting for spikes so I can go home earlier. Awful experience. The hospital was overcrowded and the staff came across as nonchalant. I arrived on 4/26/2026 at 6:00 AM and waited until 7:45 AM just to find out whether I could be seen before nearby urgent care centers opened—and still wasn’t. I was placed in a “fast track” option, which clearly didn’t make anything faster. Security was subpar; people in the lobby repeatedly approached me unsolicited, asking for money.
