I went to the ER at HF West Bloomfield and was treated like a piece of crap. Sat in the lobby for two and a half hours before going to triage. After triage I was sent back to the lobby for another hour. Mind you my reason for the visit was due to a cellulitis infection in my legs which also have chronic ulcer’s due to Lymphedema. My legs were draining profusely all over the floor and I couldn’t even get someone to call a janitor to help clean it up. Mind you I’m a diabetic which complicates my situation. My fiance was taken to this ratchet hospital. This beautiful hospital is NOT good! They will throw you out before you are stable enough to go home. The NP's do a lot of the rounding and most are quite stupid and not knowledgeable. The RN's are nice, but the lead RN was quite stupid. I was told by NP Chrstine King that following major abdominal surgery a bowel movement or gas wasn't a concern. She also NEVER even listened for bowel sounds. I live in Farmington Hills, and had to call an ambulance, and they took me to this hospital-which is very close to my home... I have seen the hospital many times, but have never been... I went to the emergency room Feb 28th 2012, and saw a male nurse who asked for my insurance (Blue Cross), and what brought me there... I explained my situation, and was asked some questions about my health/past... Mind you; I was not in severe pain, but did have issue enough to warrant an ambulance ride... I have never called/used an ambulanc... read more
