Could not say anything better. The staff was friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. As a former healthcare professional, I tend to be hard to please. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I was discharged I was cared for in an exemplary way. Hopefully, I won’t need their services anytime soon, but if I do, I will definitely utilize this emergency room.

No waiting in the waiting room for the Emergency Department. I was seen very quickly by the doctor. I received a CT scan quickly as well as a diagnosis. I had to then wait in the hall for quite a while before getting a room in the Observation Unit. I was taken care of very well. However there was no bathroom in the room, which was an inconvenience.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Surgical reception staff- work on having some empathy and compassion when it comes to dealing with patient’s loved ones, and maybe look at charts and understand WHY a patient has more than TWO people asking to see them. I’ve never been to a hospital that made such a fuss about having family members switch out to see a loved one especially when the family member had an extensive SERIOUS surgery. It was a horrible experience that I would not wish on my worse enemy. I was having excruciating back pain. My son left work to take me to the West Bloomfield Hospital as it is the closest hospital to my home and my doctors are all Henry Ford doctors. That was the worse experience in my life.
