Advertises walk in but limited availability. Told best to call ahead. Henry Ford facility referred us then to a Corewell facility.
I enrolled with a new doctor when my insurance changed. Today they called to say that Dr isn’t taking new patients. I explained I no longer want to see my previous doctor. I want a doctor that does more than have a scribe take notes and tell me to come back in 6 months. I have to find answers on my own through simple internet searches and come back to ask for certain tests. I want a doctor that will look for a cause, not just treat symptoms. This facility does not seem to respect appointment times. Apparently, it's all good if a patient has to wait MUCH longer than a scheduled appointment time, even though it certainly would NOT be okay if a patient made the DOCTOR wait WAY past their scheduled appointment time. Hypocritical, to say the least. I will only go to Henry Ford in Richmond, MI to get lab work done from now on - no more doctor/urgent care appointments.
Nurse practitioner ACO, who also goes by Alex was very rude and unhelpful. I came in for back pain a month ago and he gave me medicine that conflicts with my current medicine that I’m already taking. He said it wouldn’t bother me at all, but when I spoke to my specialist about my chronic condition, she said I never should’ve taken the medicine he prescribed me.
